Pizza Oven

General Instructions:

1. Make sure that you plug into 115 volts or 208/220/240 volts as per plate on back of oven. An electric line without any lights, motors, or other appliances is most desirable for the proper operation of the electric oven.

2. When normally baking, preheat oven for about 30 minutes with the thermostat dial set at the desired temperature. Make sure that the pilot light goes on when oven is turned on. When the desired temperature is reached, the pilot light will automatically go off.

3. During baking, the pilot light will go on and off as more or less heat is required from the oven.

4. NOTE: The bell-signal timer on the lower front panel does not turn off the heat; it simply reminds the operator that the food has been in the oven for the time set, to look at it and/or take it out.

5. Please be very careful handling pizza stones. They will crack very easily.

Pizza Baking

Preheat your oven by setting thermostat to the desired temperature. When the thermostat light goes out, the oven is ready for use. Normally the range of temperature is much higher for pizza than for general baking. Pizza should cook at approximately 550 degrees to 600 degrees depending on the individual product. Allow the pizza to bake until the cheese bubbles and bottoms are browned. Do not keep oven door open too long when loading, since this will let heat escape, resulting in slower baking.

Cleaning

Before cleaning, turn the oven off, open the door and allow the oven to cool. The outside of the oven may be cleaned with any standard commercial cleaner. Shelves may be removed and cleaned.

Warning: Do not clean decks with high abrasion brushing or water as they may crack!

Always allow decks to cool completely before cleaning. Foods cannot be thawed directly on hearth decks.

Liquids should never come in contact with the decks!! Wipe clean with a dry cloth!!
